Play well

Responsible play

A social casino has no stakes, but it does have your time and attention. Here is how to keep both under your own control.

18+ Social casino Free to play · no purchase necessary

The short version: Drakeball is for entertainment purposes only. There is no real-money gambling here, nothing to buy and nothing to win. If social gaming stops being fun, take a break.

What Drakeball is — and is not

Drakeball is a social casino. That word matters in both halves: the games borrow the shape of casino play, and the “social” part means every one of them is played with virtual coins. Those coins cannot be purchased, transferred, exchanged, redeemed or withdrawn. They have no monetary value and no value of any other kind outside the page you are looking at. Nobody deposits anything, nobody wins anything, and no outcome is a wager.

It is worth being blunt about a second point: doing well at a social game tells you nothing about real-money gambling. Our multipliers are tuned to feel good over a short session, not to model any real betting product. Success here does not predict success anywhere else, and it should never be read as practice.

Our age policy

Drakeball is intended for players aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly design for, market to, or collect information from anyone under 18. If you share a device with younger family members, most browsers and operating systems include content controls or a supervised profile that can keep this kind of site off their screens.

Signs it is time to stop

  • You are playing to fill time you had set aside for something else.
  • A run of low pockets leaves you irritated rather than amused.
  • You find yourself chasing a specific result — the ×15 wedge, a dragon line — rather than enjoying the round in front of you.
  • You are reaching for the refill button without noticing.
  • Sessions are getting longer while the enjoyment stays flat.

None of these are dramatic on their own. Taken together they are a reasonable cue to close the tab and do something else for a while.

Setting your own limits

  1. Decide the length before you start. A timer on your phone works better than intending to stop “after the next one”.
  2. Treat the refill as a checkpoint. When the balance runs out, that is a natural place to stop rather than an invitation to continue.
  3. Keep it out of the small hours. Late-night sessions stretch the most and satisfy the least.
  4. Play in one window. Leaving the games open in a background tab all day makes a short habit feel permanent.

Taking a longer break

Because Drakeball has no accounts, we have no login to suspend on your behalf — but a self-imposed break is straightforward to enforce and, if anything, harder to undo than an account setting:

  • Add drakeball.com to a website blocker or focus mode on every device you use.
  • Use your browser’s site-blocking extension or your router’s parental controls for a household-wide block.
  • Remove the bookmark and clear the address bar suggestion so the site does not autocomplete itself.
  • Ask someone you trust to set the block, if that makes it easier to leave in place.

If gambling itself is a concern

Drakeball is a social casino, not a gambling service, and we are not qualified to give clinical advice. Support for gambling-related harm is organised differently in every country, so rather than point you at one nation’s helpline, we would suggest this: search for a national gambling support service in your own country, or speak to your doctor or another health professional, who can refer you to a local service. Confidential helplines exist in most places and are free to contact.

Keeping perspective

Social games are a small pleasure, and small pleasures are best in small portions. Play Drakeball for a few minutes because the orb bouncing off a peg at the last second is genuinely satisfying. When that stops being true, the games will still be here later — and they will still cost nothing.
